Dry mouth

I have had a CPAP with a humidifier for about 2 years now. I have had debilitating dry mouth and may try the discs I see in posts here. Last night I realized that with the mask on, my mouth doesn't move normally and salivary secretions simply are not happening. The same thing will happen if I keep my mouth totally inactive during waking hours. I feel like the dry mouth has nothing to do with open mouth or humidity, but more likely changing the body's natural movements that allow saliva to flow. My tissues in my mouth are becoming different and almost kind of raw and swollen because of it. I'm becoming concerned about dental impacts. I have tried things like Biotine with no improvement. Thoughts?
