commercial driver with sleep apnea

i spent 11 yrs on the road of which 6 using a cpap devise, as you are aware when having this condition sleep is at best the most important step, the trucking industrry has made small steps in still allowing those whom drive the semis to continue, however not as much as the dept. of transportation would like them to. Most of the accidents involving semis are caused by fatiuge, the demanding drive times to get loads picked up ontime and or delivered is the main reason, as d.o.t. did manage to change hours of service several yrs back thus keeping what is known in the industry as the supertruckers { the law breakers } to change there ways. But as for me im off the road not due to my sleep disorder but to assist in way one another those individuals being forced to drive while fatiuged by the big trucking companies
